Inconveniently, this ode to suffering was released last week — sandwiched between the Bills’ miraculous comeback win over the Bucs and yesterday’s thumping of the Raiders to put Buffalo at 5-2 for the first time since the Taft administration.
At best, the playoff drought ends this year and the book title changes to “What it WAS like” when it gets reprinted in 2018.
At worst, the season collapses and the book becomes even more relevant.
