On behalf of the entire staff at Trending Buffalo and all of our contributors, we are honored to be voted Best Blog in Artvoice’s Best of Buffalo 2013. There were four other great nominees and an infinite number of others who could have made the cut. A little over a year ago, we set out to create a one-stop shop for the best of digital media in Buffalo and while we’re nowhere near our potential, we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. In a year full of high points for Trending Buffalo, this ranks right at the top. We love you, Buffalo.

Wow, what a shock. You gave the award for Best Blog to somebody else. Guess what? We didn’t want your award. The next time you give out a meaningful award will be the first.

Who’s counting the votes anyway? And who’s overseeing the process? We highly doubt it’s KPMG or any other reputable firm. It’s probably just a couple of your Allentown drinking buddies.

Next year, why don’t you just nominate us for Best French Restaurant instead? We’ve got just as a good a chance to win and it’s time somebody knocked Rue Franklin off its high horse.
